This CONNECT switch cover is part of the switching series “System Design” of the manufacturer Merten. It needs to be completed with a mounting frame of this switching series in the colour selected. This cover is a Z-Wave device without any local switching function and therefore needs  to be completed with a switching unit realised as flush-mounted socket (MER_576897 or MER_576799). Together with the switching socket it realises a complete wall switch. It is included and controlled in a Z-Wave network by a remote control, a wireless control centre or any other kind of Z-Wave controller including a PC-software. The unit can control further Z-Wave devices wirelessly via association. These associations need to be assigned with a Z-Wave controller. This cover is powered via the flush mounted socket.
