Thermostats
Heating controls allow the individual control of heating behaviour per heating device or room and as function of time. Heating systems are typically realised as wall-mounted radiators or floor heating. The wall radiators are controlled by radiator thermostats (TRV= Thermostatic Radiator Valves) on each radiator while floor heating systems typically use a thermostat on the wall of the room to be controlled. These thermostats communicate with the floor heating via electrical wires. A time-driven regulation of heat per room helps to dramatically reduce energy, since rooms are only heated when really needed.
Via Z-Wave networks the control of the heat and air condition can be centralized and even accessed remotely. An example is a change of the heating state if a user comes home earlier than expected.
